Alert over children’s choking risk

Tesco, Sainbury’s and Co-op issue urgent recall of products
One product recall is a toy vehicle range
A range of toy cars and two other popular products are being recalled urgently by three leading supermarkets.
The recalls come amid safety fears for certain products for sale at Tesco, Sainsburys and Co-op stores across the county.
It’s important to check whether you have any in the cupboards, as they could be harmful.
Tesco is recalling its Carousel Drive and Talk Emergency Vehicles toy range.

The supermarket said: “We have been made aware that the small directional wheel underneath the vehicle can become detached from the body of the vehicle.
“This small wheel has the potential to become a choking hazard.”
If you have bought one of the toy cars, stop using it and return it to any Tesco store for a full refund. No receipt is required.
